Y.A.Y. Ministry: Sis. Alma Robinson, Director

Y.A.Y. is an acronym for Young Adult & Youth Ministry. TSH cherishes our young adults and youth. We seek to incorporate young adults and youth in the life of the church. Family Day worship service is scheduled for the 4th Sundays where the youth are in charge of the service. The youth are also a part of the Young People’s Division, a subdivision of the Women’s Missionary Society. Through this organization the Young Adults and Youth participate in community service activities and learn valuable leadership skills and Christian character.

The Youth (Ages twelve and under) are welcomed to join TSH in attendance at the annual Church School Convention, usually a three-day convention. The Young Adults (ages 13 and up) are encouraged to attend the annual Christian Education Leadership Congress held in Orlando, Fl, also usually a three-day event.

The Anne M. Harvin Missionary Society: President TBA

This ministry practices community outreach and mission work. Annually, TSH hosts the AMH Missionary Prayer Breakfast where we acknowledge and award nominated members of the community for community service work. Chef Forrest usually creates a delicious breakfast and the awardees are honored in a video montage chronicling their community service.

BYM Ministry (Because You Matter): Senella Johnson, Coordinator

This is a outreach ministry. Each month members are encouraged to bring donated items to fulfill a need, i.e. supply bags for the homeless, care packages for group homes, nursing homes etc. When creating supply bags for the "Unhoused", members are then asked to take several of the supply bags to keep in their vehicles to distribute to any homeless person they may encounter in their travels.

On the final Monday of the month TSH is responsible to provide and serve dinner to the homeless at St. Georges Episcopal Church

Health & Wellness Ministry: Mauvline Johnson, Coordinator

This ministry provides information, coordinates events and brings awareness to issues concerning health and wellness on a monthly basis.
